YU GI OH ROLE-PLAY GROUP

Welcome! Well, lately there have been tons of RP groups popping up all over the place. And I wanted a Yu Gi Oh one. Because Yu Gi Oh pwns. Yes. The journal layout is based on other RP groups. XD
I initially thought that this group should include all of the generations of Yu Gi Oh, but regrettably I haven't seen much of GX and wouldn't be very good at judging applications. XD If you are a GX fan who would like to be an admin for the GX generation, please send me a note. c: The same goes for 5D's.

News From ~Setou-Kaiba: [Last Update: Nov. 29th/09]

More People! Please welcome:! GO HARASS HIM! XD

We are having two "event" weeks coming up. The first one being well, not necessarily mandatory, but it will be a hell of a lot more fun if everyone participated. The second being entirely optional. But it's always fun right?

The first event week will be "Future Week" The scenario is:

Ten years from now [assuming around the end of Battle City] Seto Kaiba sends out invitations to all the duelists and their families, inviting them to come [back] to Domino for a "Reunion Duel". It will be held at his Duel Academy.

The RPers job will be to make journals, something along the lines of "I can't wait to get back to Domino" or "Wow it sure has changed here" or something like that. And then all the people will get "re-acquainted" with each other and "catch up" on what may or may not have been going on.

As for what has happened to the characters in those ten years is totally up to you guys. But lets keep it realistic alright? I mean, no lottery winners alright?

This event will happen between Monday November 30th and Sunday December 6th. Any questions feel free to ask~

The second event will be everyone's favorite..........Abridged Week! You all know how it works XD

This event will be between Monday December 7th and Sunday December 13th. Again, any questions, please ask~

How do I join?

1. Choose a character from the “remaining characters” list (below).
2. Send me a note (please type a subject like this: "Application: Yami Yugi”(it will help me to categorize the notes) filling out the form below:
a) Which character do you want?:
b) Why do you want to role-play as this character?:
c) Do you really think that you can role-play this character?:
d) Show me (please write a monologue (it should be a paragraph, meaning 4 or 5 lines at least), any subject will be accepted):
e) How many times a week you think you could check your comments?:
f) Do you agree with the rules? (Yes/No): What's this question here for again...? Just follow the rules, kay? ('Kay/'Kay):
g) Do you have any ideas concerning the character you wish to role-play as?:

RULES: For Canon Characters

1.You should stay in character to give characters more realistic aura.
2. Only official pairings are allowed! You can mention the others but please don’t let it be too obvious. (ex. One character can have a crush on another.)
3. Keep the accounts active! Let’s say, how does “at least once every two weeks” sound?
4. If you’re going on a hiatus, please inform people by mentioning it in your journal. Don’t forget to tell how long you will be gone.
5. Please be nice to others, don’t use slang.
6. Each roleplayer may have up to two characters, but they must be either a major character and a minor character, or a minor character and a minor character.
7. Please remember to use correct grammar. Punctuation, and capitalization are included. Also, don't forget to correct any misspelled words that dA's spell check has notfied you of.
8. And as fun as it is, please try not to use Yu Gi Oh the Abridged Series quotes, unless it’s out of character. XD
